Our Doctors

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors who make Albany Eye Care the leading provider of vision care products and services in Laramie.

Dr. Brian Pieper

Dr. Pieper graduated Cum Laude from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in May of 2012. While attending Optometry school he was a member of the Sigma Beta Kappa and the Tomb and Key Honors Society. Dr. Pieper did two rotations in the glaucoma clinic at Illinois College of Optometry and worked at the Hot Springs Veterans Hospital in South Dakota. He then went on to work with a mainly pediatric population in Kansas, followed by an externship in Iowa where he focused on a variety of contact lens fittings. His undergraduate studies were completed here in Laramie at the University of Wyoming.

He was born and raised in Torrington, Wyoming, and is excited to be part of the Wyoming community again. As an avid outdoorsman, he spends most of his free time flying, water skiing, snowboarding, and hunting. He is excited to be part of the team at Albany Eye Care.

Dr. Nikalous Tolman

Albany Eye Care is excited to welcome Dr. Nikalous Tolman to our practice! Dr. Tolman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry in 2016. He completed a variety of different clinical rotations concentrating on LASIK surgery, primary care, and ocular disease. His undergraduate studies were completed in Laramie at the University of Wyoming.  Actually, you have met Dr. Tolman before at your office.  While completing his undergraduate degree, he worked under Dr. King and Dr. Hollon as our Optician!

Dr. Tolman was born and raised in Riverton, Wyoming.  He is excited to be back in his home state.  Dr. Tolman enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, their son, Mason, and 2 beautiful twins, Kate and Anna, and their youngest Oakley.  They love the great Wyoming outdoors and try to squeeze in as much camping and four-wheeling as they can during our few short, but beautiful summer months.  We are excited to welcome Dr. Tolman to our team, and he is excited to serve Laramie and our surrounding communities!
